Our Style
Every client that we work with is unique in their own way. Each brings their own past, present, and future into the room every session. And while unique, there are many challenges and behaviors that we share with other people. Our job as therapists is to help people discover what challenges they can overcome and to help them find the strength to do it.
As Marriage and Family Therapists, we are trained to work with individuals, couples, and families. The same systemic principals apply to all people, no matter how many people are in the room. What does change is the techniques and tools that are available in "real time".
Our Training
All of our therapists are trained in Marriage and Family Therapy. We believe this is the most effective training available today. It is a fairly recent addition to the world of personal psychology that combines the most effective traits of early psychoanalysis with more modern views on behaviors and even biology.

Our therapists are members of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. This national organization holds it's members to a high standard of education, ethics, and trainings.
Research studies repeatedly demonstrate the effectiveness of marriage and family therapy in treating the full range of mental and emotional disorders and health problems. Adolescent drug abuse, depression, alcoholism, obesity and dementia in the elderly -- as well as marital distress and conflict -- are just some of the conditions Marriage and Family Therapists effectively treat.
