His Story
Aaron Horn, LMFT, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works in North Carolina. He has worked with families and adolescents since 2000 in a variety of roles. Throughout his career he has worked with a broad range of people who were experiencing both high and low points. He was voted one of Caldwell Counties Top 20 under 40 early in his career. His experience includes: Individual and couple's counseling, leadership development, public speaking, and much more.
Aaron’s varied experiences have taught him to look at life and family from a holistic point of view with a focus on solutions. He understands that stress and anxiety can impact a family as well as an individual. He believes that therapy is a powerful tool that helps you find solutions to life’s struggles. During counseling sessions, Aaron uses a combination of both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Narrative Therapy. He finds that understanding the "why" of our behaviors is often the catalyst we need to begin to change them. He has a strong but calm demeanor that comes off as empathetic and friendly.
Throughout his life, he has spent time kayaking the rivers of North Georgia, hiking on the Appalachian trail, building and racing classic cars, leading small groups in classrooms, providing individual counseling sessions and giving professional presentations. Reach out to him if you would like more information or to set up a counseling session.
